The Council on Legislation, during its meeting in Chicago, voted to add Youth as the 5th Avenue of Service to Rotary. This is a move that many serving the youth of our clubs and District 5280 have looked forward to for a long while.
Now that Youth is officially an Avenue of Service, it has a new name - The New Generation. This new name is fitting of the young people that we serve and that are building our future as well as theirs.
Congratulations to the Youth of Rotary. The New Generation is sure to make us all proud.

Rotaract is a Rotary-sponsored service club for young men and women ages 18 to 30. Rotaract clubs are either community or university based, and they’re sponsored by a local Rotary club. This makes them true "partners in service" and key members of the family of Rotary.
